  • The Treehouse Between Worlds | Sleep Story for Feeling Small

The Treehouse Between Worlds | Sleep Story for Feeling Small
    Oct 19 2026
This is a cozy, magical bedtime story for anyone who feels small, about a boy who climbs into a treehouse high in the branches of an enormous tree that holds every world at once. Arlo can't sleep, and there's a glowing blue acorn on his windowsill. When he climbs his bunk-bed ladder holding it, the ladder keeps going, up through the ceiling and onto a mossy branch among swirling, colored stars. There he finds a treehouse built by dwarves and meets Bramble, a very old, very fast-talking squirrel who keeps the tree and carries every goodnight said in every world to wherever it's going. Together they wind down the giant trunk, past branches leading to a world of snow, a world of ocean and a world of floating lanterns, to the glowing roots, where an ancient dragon named Moss hums the tree into growing. Arlo learns why Bramble chose to be small and who his acorn is for, plants it among the roots, and falls asleep in a moss hammock in the treehouse. 0:00 Intro 2:00 The Acorn on the Windowsill 4:25 The Ladder That Kept Going 7:55 A Treehouse Among the Stars 9:15 Bramble, Keeper of the Tree 13:35 Branches to Other Worlds 16:10 The Dragon in the Roots 19:40 Why Bramble Chose Small 22:30 Planting a Goodnight 23:55 Asleep in the Treehouse 26:50 Sleep Sounds What's covered in this video: - The opening finds Arlo awake in his top bunk, where a glowing blue acorn on the windowsill turns his ladder into a climb up through the ceiling and into a giant tree among the stars. - The middle explores a cozy treehouse in the branches, full of glowing lizards, silver spiders and moths, and introduces Bramble, a quirky, wise squirrel who carries every goodnight from every world. - The descent winds down the trunk past glimpses of other worlds to the roots, where an ancient green dragon named Moss hums and breathes the tree into growing. - The turn comes when Bramble explains she can take any shape at all and chose to be small, and Arlo plants his acorn, a goodnight sent to him, to help hold the tree up. - The closing tucks Arlo into a moss hammock as the tree's creatures dim and the dragon's hum rises through the branches like a heartbeat. Mentioned in this video: magical bedtime story, cozy sleep story, sleep story for feeling small, belonging, self-worth, world tree, tree of life, treehouse, cosmic sleep story, nebula, stars, squirrel, shapeshifter, dwarves, dragon, glowing acorn, other worlds, goodnight, sleep story for kids and adults, fantasy sleep story, self-voiced sleep story, fall asleep fast, Dream With Jacob, Jacob Evans. Somewhere tonight, someone said goodnight and meant it for you. Bramble could be anything in all the worlds and chose to be small. • The Little Dragon Beneath the Mountain | Cozy Magical Sleep Story

The Little Dragon Beneath the Mountain | Cozy Magical Sleep Story
    Oct 12 2026

This is a magical, mysterious bedtime story about a boy who follows a rumbling sound beneath his garden at night and finds a little dragon whose fire has gone out, deep inside the mountain.

Rowan loves his family's garden most after dark. One night the ground starts to grumble under his feet, and he follows it through a hidden crack in a mossy boulder, down a stairway of glowworms, to a small grey dragon named Pebble. Together they drift down an underground river of green stars, through a cave of ringing crystals and a hall of ancient sleeping dragons, to the fire at the mountain's heart, where Rowan helps Pebble light his fire again. Then the two of them curl up in the warm moss and fall asleep.

    - The adventure carries them by stone raft along an underground river, through a cave of humming crystals and past a hall of ancient stone dragons asleep in the walls.

    - The closing relights Pebble's fire at the mountain's heart and settles both of them to sleep in a warm mossy hollow, where the rumble turns into a dragon's purr.

  • Odysseus Comes Home to Penelope | The Odyssey Finale, Ep. 14

Odysseus Comes Home to Penelope | The Odyssey Finale, Ep. 14
    Oct 8 2026
This is the final episode of a sleep-story adaptation of Homer's Odyssey: after twenty years apart, Odysseus and Penelope are reunited through the secret of the olive tree bed, and Odysseus finds his father Laertes in the orchard. Euryclea climbs the stairs to wake Penelope, who can't let herself believe the news. She comes down and sits across the fire from the stranger, then tests him with the one secret only the two of them share: the bed Odysseus built around a living olive tree. Athena holds back the dawn so they can have a longer night, and Odysseus tells Penelope the whole story of his journey. In the morning he finds Laertes working in the orchard and proves who he is with the trees his father gave him as a boy, and Athena brings peace to Ithaca. Adapted from Samuel Butler's public-domain prose translation (Books XXIII–XXIV), with gentle narration for sleep. Jacob opens and closes this finale with a thank-you to everyone who followed the series. What's covered in this video: - Euryclea wakes Penelope with the news that Odysseus is home, and Penelope refuses to believe it. - Penelope sits across the fire from Odysseus in silence while Telemachus calls her heart harder than stone, and Phemius plays a wedding dance to hide what happened from the town. - Penelope tests Odysseus by asking for their bed to be moved, and he reveals that he built it around a living olive tree. - Odysseus and Penelope embrace like a shipwrecked sailor reaching land, and Athena holds back the dawn to lengthen their night. - Odysseus shares Teiresias's prophecy of the oar and a gentle old age, then tells Penelope his entire story, from the Lotus-Eaters to the Phaeacians. - In the underworld, Agamemnon hears the suitors' story and praises Penelope's faithfulness. - Odysseus finds his father Laertes in the orchard and proves who he is with the scar and the fruit trees Laertes gave him as a boy. - Athena and Zeus end the feud with the suitors' families and bring peace to Ithaca. Mentioned in this video: The Odyssey, Homer, Samuel Butler translation, Odyssey finale, Odysseus, Penelope, Telemachus, Laertes, Euryclea, Eurynome, Phemius, Medon, Dolius, Eupeithes, Halitherses, Athena, Zeus, Hermes, Agamemnon, Teiresias, Mentor, Ithaca, the olive tree bed, Penelope's test, the reunion of Odysseus and Penelope, Odysseus and Laertes, the orchard of Laertes, the meadow of asphodel, Lotus-Eaters, Cyclops, bag of winds, Circe, the Sirens, Scylla and Charybdis, cattle of the Sun, Calypso, Phaeacians, Greek mythology sleep story, bedtime story for adults, Dream With Jacob, Jacob Evans. Fourteen episodes, twenty years, and it all comes down to a bed built around a living tree, a secret only two people in the world knew. Thank you for making this voyage with me. I'd love to know: which part of the Odyssey stayed with you the most? Tell me in the comments.
