A proposito di questo titolo

What do you really need to be happy? Another startup? Another spiritual method? A list of 15 books you won’t finish? This podcast isn’t here to tell you what to do. We explore deep ideas of freedom, and then we go through the door and meditate briefly. Dmitri’s Door is not a self-help show. It’s a slow, introspective dialogue — a place for poetic inquiry, not productivity hacks. If you’re seeking simple answers, this may not be for you. But if you're drawn to philosophical reflection, non-duality, self-awareness, and the search for inner freedom, you're in the right place. Each episode is an exploration, channeled in real-time — influenced by Krishnamurti, Alan Watts, Zen, and lived experience as a founder, builder, and seeker. We are here to explore together. We’ll explore the roots of fear, desire, creativity, entrepreneurship, and what success really means. You won’t be given answers, but rather questions that help you find your own. If you're building a life — or a business — from the inside out, this is your space. Open the door. Let’s explore the unknown, together.Dmitri Sarle Economia Filosofia Gestione e leadership Leadership Scienze sociali
  • Discipline Is a Trap: How To Create 'Motivation' Externally
    Jan 12 2026

In this episode, I talk. Well, that happens in every episode, but in this particular one, I talk about the word I almost despise "discipline". We divide the world up, and so we divide ourselves - making it super difficult to do things as we think we have to figure it all out ourselves. This makes little sense to me.

Instead of forcing change through willpower alone, let's see how you can do it through the "Internal You" and the "External You".

As always, we meditate in the end.

  • Is Leadership Without Leading Possible? How To Know What You Really Want? /w Joppe Quaedvlieg
    Dec 18 2025

    Okay, so here’s the deal.

This episode is not for managers. It’s not even for “leaders,” really. It’s for humans who are tired of playing roles at work. Tired of pretending. Tired of talking about psychological safety while avoiding real conversations. Tired of holding their breath in teams that say “we value feedback” but can’t handle it.

In this episode, I sit down with my friend Joppe, a coach, and fellow question-asker, to explore what happens when leadership becomes a form of presence, not control. We don’t talk about KPIs or frameworks. We talk about:

    • What teams actually need (hint: it’s not clarity, it’s honesty)
    • Why fake listening is worse than no listening
    • How we gaslight ourselves out of knowing what we want
    • The subtle pressure to perform

And how maybe, just maybe, we’re all trying to lead each other home, if we’d only drop the masks.

We also talk about why feedback loops are often bullshit, how values become weaponized, and what it means to stop managing people and start listening like you mean it.

At the end: a meditative pause. An invitation to stop. To ask: what do I actually want right now? Let's go!

After listening, take five minutes to sit. Close your eyes. Ask yourself: what do I want, really? Let it land. Then act from there. And if you feel brave, tell me what came up.

  • Can Freedom Exist Without Inner Peace? Thoughts on Politics.
    Oct 13 2025

In this introspective episode of Dmitri's Door, Dmitri explores the intersection of politics, freedom, and inner growth. Reflecting on his invitation to join local elections in Hiiumaa, he questions who should lead in society, and proposes that true leaders must embody both internal and external freedom. Drawing from personal experience with startups, meditation, and community dialogue, Dmitri challenges the current political system, advocates for qualified and self-aware individuals in leadership, and envisions a future without rigid party lines. The episode ends with a guided reflection, encouraging listeners to evaluate their own readiness for service and personal growth.
