  • Nail the Flag and Burn the Ship: Part 2
    Oct 26 2026

What happens when surrender is not an option?

In Part 2 of "Nail the Flag and Burn the Ships," Pastor Anthony Daley challenges us to stand firm when life gets difficult and to keep fighting the good fight of faith.

Through Galatians 6:7–9 and the story of a naval crew that refused to lower its flag in the middle of battle, Pastor Anthony paints a powerful picture of spiritual resolve. Sometimes the hardest part of following Jesus is continuing to sow, serve, forgive, pray, and do good when you haven't seen the harvest yet.

But don't grow weary. Don't let disappointment, exhaustion, or emotion talk you out of what God has called you to do.

Nail the flag to the mast. Burn the ship. Refuse to surrender.

This episode is an encouragement to keep your focus on Jesus, stand firm in the middle of the battle, and remember that the cross has already secured the victory.

Topics include: perseverance, spiritual warfare, Christian encouragement, fighting the good fight of faith, trusting God, overcoming discouragement, spiritual growth, staying faithful, God's promises, Christian living, and following Jesus.

  • Nail the Flag and Burn the Ship: Part 1
    Oct 19 2026

What does it look like to completely commit to following Jesus?

In Part 1 of "Nail the Flag and Burn the Ship," Pastor Anthony Daley explores the story of Elisha in 1 Kings 19 and the powerful picture of him killing the oxen and burning the plow after receiving the call to follow Elijah.

Elisha didn't leave himself a way back. He burned the plow and moved forward.

This conversation challenges us to examine whether we've truly committed to God's call or whether we're keeping a retreat plan for when things get difficult. Following Jesus requires faith, perseverance, and the willingness to leave the old life behind.

If God is calling you into a new season, deeper faith, greater commitment, or a new assignment, this episode will challenge you to burn the ships, stop retreating, and keep moving forward with Jesus.

Topics include: following Jesus, wholehearted commitment, burning the ships, faith, spiritual growth, God's calling, discipleship, leaving the past behind, perseverance, Christian living, and stepping out in faith.

  • Purpose Beyond Your Position
    Oct 6 2026

Helpless people need help. That simple phrase captures the heart of what true leadership is all about. Whether in the military, the marketplace, or the church, the mission remains the same: serve those who cannot serve themselves. Every role you have held, even the painful or confusing ones, has been preparation for something God is building in you. Just as Joseph moved from slavery to prison to palace and ultimately preserved an entire people, your hardest seasons are not wasted. God uses unexpected people, unexpected resources, and unexpected moments to accomplish what no human strategy could achieve on its own. Your position may pause, but your assignment never does.

  • Stay Awake
    Sep 14 2026

Life has a way of emptying us out, even when we are doing everything right. The prophet Elijah experienced this firsthand, going from calling down fire on Mount Carmel to collapsing in the wilderness and asking God to let him die. Yet God did not scold him or question his faith. He simply fed him, let him rest, and told him there was more ahead. In Matthew 25, Jesus uses three parables to show what it looks like to stay spiritually full while waiting for His return. The key is not perfection but preparation. Staying faithful to your assignment, using the gifts God has given you, and showing up for the people around you is what keeps the vessel full. Jesus is coming back, and He is looking for servants who are found doing exactly that.

  • Staying Full • Staying Ready
    Sep 7 2026

Spiritual burnout is a real danger for those in ministry, and it often comes from serving others without staying personally filled. The Parable of the Ten Virgins in Matthew 25 makes it clear that oil, representing intimacy with the Holy Spirit, cannot be borrowed from someone else. You can adopt another leader's strategy or borrow a set of sermon notes, but you cannot borrow another person's prayer life or their history with God. Jesus warned in Matthew 7 that it is possible to do great things in His name while missing genuine relationship with Him entirely. Paul himself acknowledged the risk of becoming disqualified after preaching to others. The solution is not to stop serving but to serve from a place of fullness rather than depletion. Practical habits like consistent prayer, time in Scripture, and genuine rest are what keep the oil flowing. Stay full, stay ready, and make sure your lamp is burning bright when the Bridegroom arrives.
