What happens when surrender is not an option?
In Part 2 of "Nail the Flag and Burn the Ships," Pastor Anthony Daley challenges us to stand firm when life gets difficult and to keep fighting the good fight of faith.
Through Galatians 6:7–9 and the story of a naval crew that refused to lower its flag in the middle of battle, Pastor Anthony paints a powerful picture of spiritual resolve. Sometimes the hardest part of following Jesus is continuing to sow, serve, forgive, pray, and do good when you haven't seen the harvest yet.
But don't grow weary. Don't let disappointment, exhaustion, or emotion talk you out of what God has called you to do.
Nail the flag to the mast. Burn the ship. Refuse to surrender.
This episode is an encouragement to keep your focus on Jesus, stand firm in the middle of the battle, and remember that the cross has already secured the victory.
Topics include: perseverance, spiritual warfare, Christian encouragement, fighting the good fight of faith, trusting God, overcoming discouragement, spiritual growth, staying faithful, God's promises, Christian living, and following Jesus.
