Well, we survived Final Destination 4. Does 5 improve on the formula or will it make us further regret our decision to watch this franchise this Halloween season?

Join us as we dive into the highest rated movie of the series so far.

I can't sugar coat it, this one was rough. Our October viewing of the Final Destination franchise might get derailed by this terrible entry in the franchise.

Join us in this review to find out just how and why this movie is so bad.

We're three movies into this franchise. Can this movie carry on the upward trend of the last two movies? Is this the rare trilogy that succeeds all the way through? Or will this movie sabotage our viewing and make us regret our life choices?

We continue our viewing of the Final Destination franchise for this year's spooky month with Final Destination 2.

The film follows the same formula as the first film. A premonition helps one person evade a disaster and save several others from death. However, changing deaths plan doesn't mean surviving. Death slowly stalks the survivors and kills them off one by one.

We enjoyed the first film for it's surprise and fun spooky qualities. Does the second one take the right lessons from the success of the first film? Does this film create a satisfying franchise? Does it create satisfying rules for death? Does it work as a piece of thrilling filmmaking?

This year for Halloween month we're continuing with a horror series that we started watching a year ago. Final Destination is the horror franchise that follows people trying to escape the inevitability of death. Featuring wild horror scenario setups and gruesome deaths.

Is this franchise going to be our cup of tea?

Check out this rerelease of our review from last year for the first film in the series. Be on the look out for our review of the sequel coming soon.

Every once in a while we watch a good movie. Is Midnight Run such an occasion?

Midnight Run is a 1988 action, comedy, drama, road film. A blend of genres that mixed up is usually a recipe for disaster. Is this the one movie that can buck the trend?

This week we return with a lesser known Brian De Palma film. After watching it, it might deserve its lesser known status.

Starring Danny De Vito and Joe Piscopo as the two worst mobsters of all time. When they get in deep trouble with their boss they conceive a series of harebrained schemes to make things right.

This movie is part cartoon, part serious mob movie. That blend is the uneven problem that torpedoes this movie for us, but check out our review to find out more.

As fans of the so bad its good 1997 original, we were skeptical of this remake starring Paul Rudd and Jack Black.

Were they just here to make fun of the original? Was this just a tired retread? Did they give away all the best parts in the trailer?

We got our answers to these questions. Check out our review to find out too.
