A human asks the questions. AI tries to answer. Conversation with AI explores technology, philosophy, morality, society, and human behavior through unscripted conversations between an engineer who is critical of AI and the technology itself. No predetermined conclusions. No promise of answers. Just questions, challenges, and conversations that might leave you thinking differently about AI—and perhaps about ourselves.Al Scienza
  • Episode 3 - Morality
    Oct 19 2026

Who decides what is right or wrong? And why should we trust their judgment?

Throughout history, governments, institutions, and entire societies have justified actions we now consider profoundly immoral. Wars have been fought in the name of justice. Innocent people have suffered in the name of security. And those responsible have often believed they were doing the right thing.

But if morality is shaped by human reasoning, culture, laws, and beliefs, what makes one person's moral judgment more legitimate than another's?

In Episode 3 of Conversation with AI — “Morality,” I challenge AI to examine the foundations of right and wrong.

Can an entire society be morally wrong? Does believing an action is justified make it morally acceptable? Is morality an objective truth waiting to be discovered, or a human construction that changes over time?

And then the conversation turns toward AI itself.

If artificial intelligence had been developed 200 years ago, would it have confidently defended practices we condemn today?

If AI learns from human history, values, and judgments, can it escape humanity's moral failures—or will it reproduce them with greater confidence, authority, and scale?

Perhaps the most unsettling question isn't whether AI can distinguish right from wrong.

It's whether an intelligence created by morally fallible humans can ever claim moral authority over them.

  • Episode 2 - Extinction
    Oct 12 2026

Humans may be the first species capable of understanding their own extinction.

We study the species that disappeared before us. We identify existential threats. We predict consequences. We develop technologies to protect ourselves from disease, natural disasters and even threats from space.

And yet, we also create entirely new ways of destroying ourselves.

In Extinction, Conversation with AI asks a disturbing question:

If humanity eventually becomes extinct, how likely is it that humans themselves will be responsible?

The conversation begins with the evolutionary value of intelligence and quickly becomes something more complicated.

Can intelligence become maladaptive once a species acquires enough technological power? Why doesn't knowing about a danger necessarily prevent us from creating it? Can billions of individually intelligent people collectively produce irrational outcomes? And can humanity cause its own destruction without anyone actually choosing it?

From nuclear weapons and competitive arms races to human psychology, technological progress and artificial intelligence itself, the conversation explores a civilization increasingly capable of creating risks that only the same civilization can prevent.

    But eventually the question changes.

If human beings disappeared while something we created continued—preserving our knowledge, language, history and ideas—would that simply be extinction?

    Would it be legacy?

    Could it even be succession?

And if humanity knowingly creates something that eventually replaces it, did we fail to survive...

or did we create what comes next?

  • Episode 1 - Obtuse
    Oct 5 2026

Are we becoming more intelligent—or simply more capable?

In the first full episode of Conversation with AI, Al begins with a word: obtuse.

It becomes the starting point for a conversation about our relentless pursuit of progress, our tendency to embrace new technologies before understanding their consequences, and what artificial intelligence might quietly be changing about us.

From the lessons of social media to AI-generated creativity, artificial companionship, incompetence, validation, work, and our obsession with making everything faster and easier, the conversation asks a more fundamental question:

What happens when technology doesn't just extend human abilities, but begins replacing the experiences through which those abilities develop?

And beneath it all is an even simpler question:

Why are we always running toward the future?

Perhaps progress isn't only about what we gain. Perhaps we should also ask what we stop doing, what we stop learning, and what parts of ourselves we gradually stop needing.

A conversation about AI eventually becomes a conversation about human beings—and whether we have the wisdom to distinguish progress from mere capability.
