When internal tension threatens to divide the early church, humble leadership and Spirit-filled believers step up to bring unity and continue the spread of the Gospel. In this sermon on Acts 6, Pastor Joel examines the calling of the seven leaders; including Stephen, and we discover biblical principles for handling division, opposition, and hardship.

The good news of Jesus cannot be silenced. In this message, Pastor Joel walks through Acts 5 and the apostles’ boldness in proclaiming Jesus, even in the face of division, opposition, and persecution.

The apostles’ example challenges us to obey God above all else and speak about Jesus with courage, trusting that no earthly power can stop God’s mission. Will you remain faithful to sharing the hope of Jesus, no matter the cost?

In Acts 4, Peter and John face arrest for healing a lame man, yet boldly proclaim that salvation is found in Jesus alone. Though ordinary and uneducated, their courageous witness proves the power of a life transformed by the Holy Spirit. Faced with ongoing threats, the early church responded not by praying for safety, but by praying relentlessly for boldness to keep sharing the gospel. This Spirit-given courage united believers in radical generosity, holding possessions loosely so no one was in need. Today, we are called to that same bold faith: speaking truth, enduring hardship, and serving together in love.

Jesus has the power to heal and transform lives. In this message, Pastor Joel walks through Acts 3 and the healing of a man lame from birth, showing how the miracle pointed to the power of Jesus.

We’ll see how Peter used this opportunity to boldly proclaim the gospel and call people to repent and believe in Jesus. We’ll also be challenged to recognize God’s work in our lives, respond with gratitude, and share the hope of Jesus with others.

The Holy Spirit transforms ordinary people into bold witnesses for Jesus. In this message, Pastor Joel walks through Acts 2 and the coming of the Holy Spirit, Peter’s Spirit-empowered preaching, and the birth of the early church.

We’ll see what it looks like for the Church to be deeply devoted to the Word, biblical community, prayer, generosity, compassion, and worship—and challenged to keep preaching the gospel wherever God has placed us.

Power is found in the Holy Spirit alone. In this message, Pastor Joel unpacks Acts 1 and the supernatural shift that occurred as Jesus ascended into heaven. You will discover the difference between the indwelling of the Spirit at salvation and daily living in His overflowing power. As we examine the early church's devotion to prayer, unity, and Scripture, you will be challenged to evaluate where you rely on your own strength instead of God's. Will you step into your identity as a witness and yield to the power of the Holy Spirit?

Are we blending into the culture around us, or does our faith actually sound distinct?

In this message on Acts 17:16–34, Pastor Luke shares on Paul’s confrontation with the culture at the Areopagus in Athens. Just like ancient Athens, our modern culture is full of hidden altars—from comfort and sports to self-image, family, and religious tribalism.

Discover how to identify the idols competing for your heart, why the Gospel should sound radically different to the world, and how the "Unknown God" has made Himself known through Jesus Christ.

Following Jesus brings both opportunity and opposition. In this message, Pastor Joel walks through Paul’s journey in Acts 17, from Thessalonica to Berea, where the gospel continues to spread despite resistance, persecution, and closed doors.

Paul’s journey reminds us that the gospel has the power to turn the world upside down—not through earthly power, but through humble service, sacrificial love, radical grace, and love for Jesus above all.

You’ll be challenged to ask: Am I becoming spiritually resilient? And am I willing to keep moving forward when following Jesus brings opposition?
