Ceri's talent has always been there, in her early twenties Ceri decided to enter a national singer songwriter competition, sending in a recording of three songs and found herself invited to perform at the Marquee Club, introduced onstage by Radio 1 DJ Mark Skinner, with the head of Polydor one of the judges. Not only was Ceri the only girl left at this stage, but she had never gigged before! Being young and unsure how to proceed it took a while for those early seeds of ambition to take root and grow. Over time Ceri started to make some demos, and began getting up on stage with other people’s bands gaining know how and getting noticed. An introduction to Paul Johnston led to a songwriting partnership and eventually the debut album Justified in 2019.
Following the success of her third album Cut Loose, which quickly reached No 2 in one of the Usa charts and stayed in the top 10 for 4 months, Ceri hopes to tour next year with her band, The Jury.
