  • Theremin There, Done That
    Oct 15 2026

Maria and Autumn keep roasting their favorite Cop Show Tropes, from golf-course threats to cops who park a football field from the body. Maria's latest mystery take is the retired-professor cozy HARRY WILD, starring the captivating Jane Seymour. And Autumn breaks with the British to talk about her latest watch: Nicole Kidman and a scene-stealing Jamie Lee Curtis in the campy American thriller SCARPETTA. Who's On What (aka WOW) salutes character powerhouses Josette Simon and Fiona Shaw. And Theme of the Crime gets into the GOAT of murder-show themes, MIDSOMER MURDERS, played on an honest-to-God theremin. Look, ma, no hands!

    ABOUT THE TEAM:

Maria Notaras escaped a former life on Wall Street to spend more than two decades producing television, including The Rosie O'Donnell Show, The Wayne Brady Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Real, and Kocktails with Khloé. Along the way, she produced hundreds of celebrity interviews, earned four Daytime Emmy Awards, and survived more red carpets than any reasonable person should.

She created the podcast with Autumn Doerr, and together they write, produce, and host the podcast—giving Maria a socially acceptable excuse to obsess over British television mysteries about fictional murders in picturesque villages. She also brings an unmistakable New York accent to the proceedings, whether anyone asked for it or not.

Autumn Doerr is a producer on premium TV like the Peabody and GLAAD Award-winning HBO series WE'RE HERE and the award-winning CALIFORNIA CONNECTED for PBS. Her credits range from the horror doc COMPENDIUM OF HORROR to GUY'S GROCERY GAMES and the podcast VAMPIRES FIRST BLOOD, on how Dracula became DRACULA.

What do those wildly different genres have in common? Mystery. Will the Final Girl get killed? Will that soufflé fall? Autumn has been asking some version of that question, which tracks since she's also a lifelong mystery fan and author of the Lexi Fagan Mysteries.

  • Bloody Good To Be Back
    Oct 1 2026

Maria and Autumn kick off Season 2 of the "Bloody Good Podcast with Maria Notaras and Autumn Doerr" with a proper reintroduction that proves why they're wildly overqualified to discuss VERA and MY LIFE IS MURDER.

There's even a glowing shoutout from Maria's mentor, Jackie MacDougall, of THE GROWN-ASS WOMAN'S GUIDE.

Bottom line: Season 2 won't be a mystery for long.

Maria and Autumn take you back to the early days of podcasting with their first attempt at Bloody Good. The audio is funky, but the content is a bullseye using a famous British longbow. They discuss the watchability of Nicola Walker and Michael Kitchen. Maria recommends the two-episode mystery series, The Ice House, Autumn tells us why the series Vera is a must see, and they have a back and forth about the classic Brit detective series, Midsomer Murders.
