Season two kicks off with Maria and Autumn diving into the deliriously unhinged Australian hit DEADLOCH and crowning Sharon D. Clarke as the steely INSPECTOR ELLIS a must-watch. Two new segments debut: Cop Show Tropes We Love to Hate and Theme of the Crime, starting with BROADCHURCH'S gut-punch of a score. And, to Autumn's delight, her new puppy, Sir Stanley, reveals himself to be a serious Agatha Christie fan.

ABOUT THE TEAM:
Maria Notaras escaped a former life on Wall Street to spend more than two decades producing television, including The Rosie O'Donnell Show, The Wayne Brady Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Real, and Kocktails with Khloé. Along the way, she produced hundreds of celebrity interviews, earned four Daytime Emmy Awards, and survived more red carpets than any reasonable person should.
She created the podcast with Autumn Doerr, and together they write, produce, and host the podcast—giving Maria a socially acceptable excuse to obsess over British television mysteries about fictional murders in picturesque villages. She also brings an unmistakable New York accent to the proceedings, whether anyone asked for it or not.
Autumn Doerr is a producer on premium TV like the Peabody and GLAAD Award-winning HBO series We're Here and the award-winning California Connected for PBS. Her credits range from the horror doc Compendium of Horror to Guy's Grocery Games and the podcast Vampires First Blood, on how Dracula became Dracula.
What do those wildly different genres have in common? Mystery. Will the Final Girl get killed? Will that soufflé fall? Autumn has been asking some version of that question, which tracks since she's also a lifelong mystery fan and author of the Lexi Fagan Mysteries.
