Is Diet Driving Your Endometriosis Symptoms? Everything Changed When I Cut These Foods Out

For as long as I can remember, my period pain was incredibly intense, and it only worsened over the years. It caused fevers, loss of consciousness, and left me unable to function for days every month. Like many women, my pain was repeatedly dismissed, minimised, or described as “normal.”

    Then something unexpected happened.

While changing my diet for an entirely different medical reason, my endometriosis symptoms slowly began to disappear. When I later reintroduced certain foods, the pain and symptoms returned. When I removed them again, it eased once more. After repeating this cycle several times, it no longer felt like coincidence.

In this episode, I share my story and explore the science behind endometriosis, inflammation, hormones, and gut health, and why this condition is far more complex than “just period pain.”

For me, changing the way I eat changed how my body responds, and ultimately, it’s giving me the quality of life I deserve — and I hope it can give you some hope and answers too.

If you live with endometriosis, this episode is for you.

And if you don’t, send this episode to someone who is struggling with endometriosis or period pain — it might help them feel less alone or see their pain differently.

  • Episode #2 : The Supplement Trap: Are You Really Helping Your Dog? Answering your most common questions about dog supplements — with science.
    Dec 18 2025

Ep.2 – The Supplement Trap: Are You Really Helping Your Dog?
Answering your most common questions about dog supplements — with science.

A new joint chew, a probiotic powder, a “healthy” multivitamin… When our dogs itch, limp, slow down or get a diagnosis, most of us reach for supplements. It feels like action, like care, like we’re doing something.

But are these products truly supporting our dogs — or are we sometimes being sold comfort more than evidence?

In this episode, I break down:

    • when supplements genuinely help, and when they are just an expensive bandage
    • how diet, gut health and inflammation sit at the root of most chronic problems
    • the difference between whole-food supplements and synthetic nutrients
    • whether dogs on “complete and balanced” foods really need anything extra
    • what to know about probiotics, joint support, multivitamins and daily use
    • how to spot red flags, marketing hype and the risk of over-supplementing

If you have a cupboard full of chews, powders and drops, or you feel guilty for not giving more, this conversation is for you. My goal is to give you clarity, not more products to buy — so you can focus on what matters most: the food in the bowl and the long-term health of the dog you love.

  • Ep.1 — Milo Was Euthanised at Early-Stage Kidney Disease — What Every Dog Parent Must Know
    Dec 11 2025

A healthy dog missed one meal and skipped one walk. That same day he was diagnosed with early-stage chronic kidney disease — and he was put down the next day.
But what truly led to a decision that ended a life too soon?

This episode tells the true story of Milo — a joyful 7-year-old dog who was euthanised in the span of a single day, after being diagnosed with early-stage chronic kidney disease, with no previous symptoms and no visible decline. A decision made in a moment that left his family heartbroken, confused, and full of unanswered questions.

    How does this happen?
How does a dog go from running on the beach one day… to gone the next?
And how can dog parents protect themselves—and their dogs—from mistakes that should never happen?

In this episode, I break down:
    • what truly led to the decision made for Milo
    • what chronic kidney disease really is (and isn’t)
    • why CKD is almost never sudden
    • the 4 stages of kidney disease and how to recognise them
    • why early symptoms are often invisible
    • why euthanasia is sometimes offered too quickly
    • what every dog parent must ask before making an irreversible decision

If you share your life with a dog, this story matters.
If you’ve ever faced euthanasia, pressure, or doubt, this episode may help you breathe again.
And if you’re a vet navigating these moments with families, this conversation honours you too.

Milo’s story could have ended differently.
And understanding what happened to him may save another dog’s life.

To Milo and his family — this episode is for you. May he rest in peace.
