Viktor Wilt sits down with Showing Teeth for a conversation about one of the most exciting new acts in heavy music. Showing Teeth talks about the unusual, almost entirely self-created origins of the project, developing their distinctive sound, and working remotely with collaborators. They also dive into the raw emotion behind Showing Teeth’s screaming vocals, influences ranging from Periphery and Whitechapel. Plus, they discuss the upcoming EP A Fate Worse Than Loneliness, signing with Spinefarm and Republic Records, playing Sick New World, the challenges of suddenly performing on massive stages, and their upcoming tour with President, including stops in Boise and Salt Lake City. And yes, there’s also a very important discussion about the cats behind the music—including Michael, the girl cat with a very boyish name.

Peaches chats with Johnny Franck of Bilmuri just in time for the release of their brand new album Kinda Hard, dropping tomorrow. Johnny talks about how Bilmuri has become one of the most unpredictable projects in modern rock, why he refuses to ever get “comfortable,” and how the band’s chaotic mix of heavy riffs, country twang, and pure meme energy is completely intentional. He also breaks down the insane behind-the-scenes story of “Always Let You Down” featuring Jeremy McKinnon of A Day to Remember, produced by Noah Sebastian of Bad Omens, and how the entire song basically happened by accident after a random run-in at the gym. Plus, Johnny explains the wild armored MMA knight fight scene from the music video, the disgusting reality of putting on someone else’s sweaty armor, and the panic-fueled “guitar solo audition” that helped shape “Where To Find Me.” Finally, he reflects on “Better Hell” being the moment everything exploded for Bilmuri, and what he wants every fan to feel walking out of a show.

I sat down with YouTuber, Twitch streamer, reactor, and podcaster METALBIRB for a deep dive into all things Best of 2025. We break down how he curates his massive year-end lists, run through my personal Top 10 albums of the year, argue about whether metal rankings even matter, and debate the worst fanbase in music (spoiler: Seether enters the chat).

We also get into reaction culture, radio vs. YouTube, discovering new bands without industry hype, and why having an opinion online is basically a contact sport. If you care about modern metal, underground artists, or how fans actually find heavy music in 2025, this one goes way deeper than the comment section.
