Rico Nasty is back—and she's got a lot to say. 🎙️

On this episode of AltPress In Session, Rico Nasty joins us to break down her explosive new album RX, opening up about reconnecting with the energy of her early music for this new era, and why the project feels like a full-circle moment.

We also dive into her friendship with Hayley Williams, her uniquely challenging creative relationship with Kenneth Blume (Kenny Beats)—where disagreement actually pushes the two to make stronger music—and what continues to inspire her as an artist.

Along the way, Rico delivers some of the wildest, funniest, and most unfiltered stories we've heard on the podcast. If you're a fan of Rico Nasty, alternative music, hip-hop, punk, or honest conversations with groundbreaking artists, this episode is for you.

On this episode, Alternative Press Editor-in-Chief Anna Zanes sits down with Taylor Momsen — frontwoman of The Pretty Reckless and former actress — to talk about the band's fifth album, Dear God.

Momsen breaks down why the record is the most personal and vulnerable she's ever written, how years of loss, growth, and life on the road found their way into the songs, and why the album feels like "a rebirth in a lot of ways."

She also talks about writing as the way she's always made sense of her life, the notebooks that have stayed with her through every chapter, and why, without songwriting, "I don't know who I would be as a person." Plus, she looks back on touring with AC/DC, shares what she's learned from nearly two decades in The Pretty Reckless, and hints at what's ahead for the Dear God headlining tour.

For AP's June cover story, Thursday's Geoff Rickly takes us through the band's fabled career, from the moment he decided to start a band at a New Brunswick basement show. In conversation with Anna Zanes, he digs into the momentous anniversaries the band celebrated this year: Full Collapse, A City By The Light Divided, and No Devolución, unpacking each album, their relationship to each other, as well as his personal relationship to each.
