We are back, and this time talking about 1991s’ Critters 3. It’s, a movie. There are no strong feelings this week as we talk about why this movie feels a lot like filler. We also talk about what it takes for a movie to become repeat viewing.

Jeff does a great job of getting us to stay on topic, but Tessa and Elliot excel at chaos. New season, new films, new faces? That’s right, out with the old, in with the new, well, new to us. Eric couldn’t take the heat and stepped aside. Thankfully, Jeff knew someone interested; it just happened to be Elliot’s wife, Tessa.

This week the gang takes a look at the 1986 Critters. Jeff waxed nostalgic as Elliot dreams in Gremlin, while Tessa mentions having zero interest in taking home a pet Crite.

The three unstoppable Ninja brothers fight to save their hero (Hulk Hogan) and Mega Mountain Amusement Park from the vicious kid-hating Medusa (Loni Anderson).

We have done it; we have finished the 3 Ninjas saga. This week, the boys took a look at 1998’s 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain.

While they conclude this isn’t the worst in the series, it also isn’t the best. But it is a movie. The boys open with a weak clap by Jeff. Eric feels like this may be his last episode, and Elliot couldn’t believe how down-to-earth Hulk Hogan is in this film.

Environmental crime. Elliot begins with a prepared statement. Eric thinks we may have gone to far last week, and Jeff is just kinda here for it. There is a lot to unpack in this one, some you may be able to forgive because it was 1995, some of it you might not be so willing to. It’s wacky; there’s a last-minute race to the courthouse fun to be had. Thankfully, we are over the hump at this point with 3 Ninjas.

A new season of All Things Being Sequel is here!

Each year, three brothers visit their grandfather for the summer. He is highly skilled in ninjutsu, and for years he has trained the boys in his techniques.

We’re starting the 3 Ninjas season here on All Things Being Sequel. Was Elliot wrong for picking this series? Probably. He was trying something here, keep that in mind with the next episode.

Elliot waxes nostalgic to no ones chagrin. Eric laughs about how even his young children find things to call out about this film. Elliot threatens with a Land Before Time season if no one gets on board.

Will nostalgia be enough to keep this season afloat? Doubtful. But come, stay for the slow but inevitable train wreck.
