  • Vermont Fatherhood - Josh Miller
    Oct 12 2026
Fatherhood is one of life’s greatest rewards, but it can also be one of its toughest challenges.

And nobody hands you a roadmap.

Each second Monday of the month, Josh Miller of Vermont Fatherhood joins me on Aired Out for honest conversations about the realities of being a dad, especially when you're navigating the journey as a single parent. We talk about the tough conversations, setting healthy boundaries, knowing when to stand your ground and when to take a step back, and finding a way forward when the answers aren't always clear. Because parenting isn't always black and white. Sometimes it's a fragile dance between showing up, letting go, listening, and leading. It's learning how to be there for your kids while navigating your own challenges along the way. There are no perfect parents, and there is no one-size-fits-all playbook. But having the right conversations, sharing experiences, and knowing you're not alone can make all the difference. Fatherhood challenges are real, the rewards are immeasurable, and the work we put in matters more than we sometimes realize.

Join Josh Miller and me each second Monday of the month on Aired Out as we keep the conversation going. Because being a dad is one of the most important jobs you'll ever have, and it's worth getting right, one day at a time.

  • Vermont Senate candidate Rob LaClair
    Oct 5 2026
This morning on Aired Out, we sat down with Vermont Senate candidate Rob LaClair for a wide ranging conversation about some of the biggest issues facing Vermont right now.

Healthcare, affordability, education, housing, taxes and Act 181 were all on the table. We talked about the rising cost of living, the challenges facing Vermont families and businesses, and LaClair’s call for more choices when it comes to healthcare, energy, housing and how Vermonters spend their hard earned money.

It was a conversation about where Vermont is today, where it may be headed, and what role state government should play in the lives of Vermonters.

Thanks to Rob LaClair for joining us this morning and bringing his perspective to the conversation.

LIVE every weekday morning at 9am on Facebook and YouTube. Always live, always local and never edited.

Rob LaClair is a Republican candidate for one of Washington County’s three Vermont Senate seats in the November 3, 2026 general election. He is a former Vermont House member who represented Barre Town from 2014 to 2022.

LaClair's campaign is built around the theme “It’s About Choices.” His platform emphasizes reducing taxes and the cost of living, expanding housing options, giving Vermonters more choices in healthcare and energy, and changing the education system to focus more heavily on student outcomes and vocational skills.

He announced his Senate campaign in April 2026 and is running in a Washington County race in which all three incumbent senators, Ann Cummings, Andrew Perchlik and Anne Watson, are Democrats. The other Republican candidates are Christopher Neddo and Peter Schmeeckle.
