That was the theme at the Network 220 Conference for 2026 in Plano Texas.

Some Anchormen attended that weekend conference and we made it back with a lot of takeaways and many great notes and thoughts.

What is the church?

EASTER SUNDAY

In this episode, the Anchormen share a round table discussion with Ernest Bodrazic on the illegal and inhumane torture and crucifixion of Jesus.

So much more than death occurred when Jesus died on that cross. We will discuss the implications to us and for us with the death and resurrection of Jesus.

We are extending this podcast episode due to the subject matter of crucifixion and resurrection. Our world calls it Easter Sunday but in reality, it should be referred to as "resurrection Sunday" as it was called in years past.

This is the week most Christians go to church. This and Christmas, but those that do not go to hear the Good News, or Gospel, are missing more than an Easter message. They miss the opportunity to build relationships with Kingdom men and women at the local church.

We enter Holy Week here at the Upper room where the Anchormen meet each week to share and worship, learn and grow.

This week we'd like to welcome our dear friend Jim (JIMBO) Cross into the recording studio as we discuss the week preceding the most pivotal week in our walk with Christ. Without the death and resurrection of Jesus, we would have no hope at all and nothing to look forward to and live our lives for.

So what do the 10 commandments mean to me in 2026?

We discussed in part one how the 10 commandments were not written to us so does that mean we don't have to follow or live by them?

Well hold on there bucko, not so fast. Just because they were not written TO US, there's way more significance in what they mean to us now then aver trying to live "By The LAW" then we have now to Live By The Spirit.

Can you name the Ten Commandments?

The Anchormen tackle the ten commandments and what do they mean to a new covenant believer in Christ.

Are they STILL significant?

What is the greatest commandment and how are you doing as you live your life trying to obey it, let alone the Ten.

What are we to do with these "laws" that Moses gave to the Jews and what about the 613 other laws that man made and even some that God gave too.

The "law" points to our need for a savior, and that Savior is found in Jesus.
