Just a chill, random catching up sesh with Aqilah about how things have been after our graduation and more importantly after coming back to Malaysia. It's really random like I didn't even know what I or Aqilah was going to say but I just felt like recording an episode and here it is! Merdeka - Malay for "Independence" - a short but very meaningful word. As recorded in history, Malaya's independence on 31 Aug 1957 was achieved not by bloodshed but with proof that the multiracial society could live harmoniously. And Malaysia is just a stronger entity with the inclusion of Sarawak and Sabah into the Federation. Thus, we talked about Sarawak Independence Day (22 July) and Malaysia Day (16 Sept) because the different people in the society is what makes Malaysia! Merdeka!

It seems like student life in Japan & the UK is quite different. Obviously, being different countries it would mean that there are different cultures but I was surprised to know some differences in terms of student perks as well. Listen to us talking about it!
