Gainey helped the Wolfpack to post season appearances in all four years of his college career — and holds the ACC Tournament record for steals. Since playing, he’s turned coach and is currently an assistant at Tennessee. 

This episode of ACC Stars: Where Are They Now? features former North Carolina forward Matt Doherty. Doherty started on the 1982 National Championship team and boasts over 1,000 points, 400 rebounds and 400 assists in his college career. Doherty went on to coach at his alma mater and has recently written a book on leadership.

Whittenburg played a major role on the 1983 National Championship team — averaging nearly 16 points per game his senior season. After a brief professional career, Whittenburg pursued coaching and is now back at his alma mater as an Associate AD for Community Relations and Student Support.

This episode of ACC Stars: Where Are They Now? features former Duke quarterback Thad Lewis. At Duke, Lewis set records for most passing touchdowns and career passing yards with over 10,000. After seven years spending time with different NFL teams, Lewis is enjoying learning from some of the best in the sport as an offensive assistant with Tampa Bay.

This episode of ACC Stars: Where Are They Now? features former Clemson guard Terrence Oglesby. In his freshman year at Clemson Oglesby hit 85 3-pointers, and went on to lead the team from outside the following year with 92. Both years were good for 2nd best in the ACC. Since college, Oglesby has stayed close to the game whether playing abroad, coaching or broadcasting.

Greenwell battled through injuries and sits atop the Blue Devils record books for most three- pointers made — with 301 in her career. Greenwell was drafted by the Washington Mystics in 2018 and has stayed close to the game in her professional career.

Gwiazdowski helped elevate the Wolfpack wrestling program to unprecedented levels — winning three ACC championships and two National Championships. Gwiazdowski has enjoyed a lot of success as a pro wrestler and has his sights set on Tokyo 2021.

This episode of ACC Stars: Where Are They Now? features former Syracuse guard Eric Devendorf. Devendorf averaged nearly 16 points per game his senior season and later returned to Cuse as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. After seven years playing overseas Devendorf has stayed close to the game, playing for Boeheim’s Army in The Basketball Tournament.
