Sintesi dell'editore
Eckhart Tolle teaches a surprising form of emotional alchemy
To be human is to suffer. Whether it is brief annoyance or a life-altering cataclysm, everyone will encounter suffering - and yet, according to Eckhart Tolle, all of these painful moments contain an opportunity for awakening.
In Transforming Suffering into Peace, this celebrated teacher offers a new perspective on the ego and what he terms "the pain-body" - all the accumulated emotional wounds that follow us through life. Though the pain-body can easily rise up and hijack our consciousness with unpleasant emotions, in this program Eckhart reveals a hopeful truth - by turning the light of awareness on our suffering, that suffering becomes a powerful gateway to Presence. Join Eckhart for more than three hours of insights on how to stay present during the arising of the pain-body and how to take advantage of what is actually a potent opportunity for awakening into Presence.
Here you will learn:
- Why resentment and an inability to forgive supercharge the pain-body
- How to stay present while honoring inescapable emotions like grief
- Why some forms of suffering don't look like suffering on the surface
- How to respond to challenging situations without feeding the ego
- Why acceptance of the present moment doesn't mean passivity
In the words of Eckhart, "The less you personalize the pain you feel and associate it with a story in your head...the more quickly it becomes transmuted. It becomes fuel for your consciousness." With Transmuting Suffering into Peace, you will discover just how even our most challenging experiences can become openings to a richer and more grounded life.

Thank you, Audible!
This is wonderful, as usual for Eckhart Tolle.
Nobody can manage to bring me back to the present moment the way he does.
I recommend this to all fans of this amazing man.
He's so real. And I love his gentle humor. He reminds us to laugh at ourselves.
Fantastic book! I will listen to this again and again. (my pain body is rather large) haha

Strongly recommended
This book is next level, literally next level - I’ve been awe struck several times while listening and found myself clipping and noting parts to review. And I just don’t do that kind of thing. This book, though...wow.

Great Book!
I enjoyed this book thoroughly. Eckhart Tolle is a Great teacher & has a calming voice with his audio books. This helped me really understand the need of forgiveness of oneself and to see the pain I've been reliving for decades just is my ego trying to keep me from becoming my full complete self.

No words....
There are no words that can accurately capture the Essence of Eckhart Tolle. He has somehow managed to describe the undescribable, verbalise what cannot be verbalised and to somehow transmit that “peace which passes all understanding” to all who are lucky enough to stumble upon his teachings. I have been on this spiritual journey for about fifteen years and while I am thankful to all of my teachers along the way, Eckhart Tolle’s books and recordings brought it all together into one simple truth. I am not sure that I would have got it in such a profound way without the audio books. Thanks to Audible, I can listen while driving and doing the housework. I can’t describe his teachings but can only recommend that you listen for yourself and let the deep peace within his words resonate with that same deep peace within you.

Shines the light on the mind
I forced myself to listen to this audio book in the beginning and realised my mind was throwing up all kinds of excuses the light came on and was brought me into an understanding.that the enemy is within,in my thoughts.spirit and thoughts don't mix they like oil and water.the world with out is a reflection of the world within. Being consciously aware of my thinking allows me to give my thoughts the attention they need many thanks Andy k
