A proposito di questo titolo
The Richest Man in Babylon, based on “Babylonian parables”, has been hailed as the greatest of all inspirational works on the subject of thrift, financial planning, and personal wealth. In simple language, these fascinating and informative stories set you on a sure path to prosperity and its accompanying joys. A celebrated best seller, it offers an understanding and a solution to your personal financial problem. Revealed inside are the secrets to acquiring money, keeping money, and making money earn more money.
Before The Greatest Salesman in the World, The Richest Man in Babylon, and Acres of Diamonds, The Magic Story captured the imagination of people worldwide, inspiring them to reach for ever-greater levels of success. Since its first publication, this timeless parable has sold tens of millions of copies.
©2021 Clason (P)2021 ClasonThe narrator has a voice like MLM top seller, which I guess fits this book.
The plot is what I can describe as capitalistic nightmare - everyone there is obsessed with GOLD and being rich, then they die and someone else is now obsessed with gold and being rich. There is literally nothing more here - just banter on how to get gold and be rich.
Besides, "advice" contained herein is a bit moldy as the first publication dates back to 1926 so well, almost 100 years ago. Guess they did not have crypto coins, NFTs, and other financial tools back then.
I had some fun while listening to this one but only due to getting some ideas on how to write more Scrum parodies.

Interessante, ma sarebbero state sufficienti la metà delle pagine
