The characters feel emotionally underdeveloped, we learn little about their past and their choices often contradict the personalities we're initially shown, making them hard to be liked (yes Maya/Imara, I’m talking about you).
The narrative framework built around the FBI investigation feels far-fetched and ultimately adds nothing, failing to reveal the motives behind the events or bring any meaningful tension to the story.
The final twist feels unnecessary, thrown in at the last minute without proper buildup.
The subject was already tricky adding surface-level storytelling that handles it with surprising carelessness only makes it worse.
