A proposito di questo titolo
Sataou, still reeling from his losses and devastated by his future, continues on.
He is determined to bring the Shengu Sect to its knees and rid the area of their influence once and for all—both for his loved ones and all those being oppressed by their machinations.
The power within him grows in strength, however, and he finds himself needing to decide whether to stay true to who he is or to simply allow himself to change, becoming what the Void wishes for him to be. The world around him loses some color, but his abilities increase—and he will need every bit of help he can get in the fights to come.
Meanwhile, a new threat emerges—one that is unheard of in his corner of the world, but that is as dangerous and deadly as any he has faced thus far. When he is offered power beyond his wildest dreams, strength that would put his goals but the lifting of a finger away, will he take it—even if it may cost him everything he has left and more?

The other guy, the German. A lot of characters had German ish accents yet I only really noticed on Mc because the narrator doubled down on it. That's better narration. The weapons didn't have German names nor German grammar in English book.
That's to narrator, but the book itself.
The Mc is way too kind, as he kills at random for no reason. He may lock the doors to animal shelter and light it up, and the author is gonna say he is the good guy, because he said thanks when buying gasoline. Rogue cultivators are being hunted by sects. Mc is wearing sect robes. Rogue cultivators gets defensive of his companions. So does the good and kind Mc say he isn't a sect member? No. He goes straight to murder. Oh such kind acts by Mc. And the author then repeatedly says the guy tried to kill Mc. No he did not, he tried to defend from a sect member. His hand was forced. No it was not, the Mc didn't even try to claim he isn't part of any sect. The only unfortunate thing about the Mc is that he didn't get to see his family slain. Because oh fk he deserves it, to see them struggle, to see them acknowledge that he is the reason for their pain and slow death. Fkin palatine is sweet nice and fluffy compared to the Mc.
The Mc is an arseholes of such levels that if he was a real person, I'd hope he would be slowly torn apart and eaten alive by a pack of rabid but small dogs to make his suffering last, because he is so kind that he deserves nothing less.. I ain't Christian, and eternal torture in hell seems like excessive punishment for any crime, except Mc. He deserves it. Oh I hope there is a crossover with jager where jager slowly and torturous ly murders the Mc for what kind of an arseholes he is.
It's just eh. But I hate the Mc. He is such an arsehole, while author claims him to be good and kind.
