A proposito di questo titolo

New York Admirals captain Scott Hunter takes his pregame rituals very seriously. In this case, it's not just a lucky smoothie he's craving - it's the man who made it.

Pro hockey star Scott Hunter knows a good thing when he sees it. So, when a smoothie made by juice bar barista Kip Grady precedes Scott breaking his on-ice slump, he's desperate to recreate the magic...and to get to know the sexy, funny guy behind the counter.

Kip knew there was more to Scott's frequent visits than blended fruit, but he never let himself imagine being invited back to Scott's penthouse. Or kissed with reckless abandon, never mind touched everywhere all at once. When it happens, it's red-hot, incredible, and frequent, but also only on Scott's terms and always behind his closed apartment doors.

Scott needs Kip in his life, but with playoff season approaching, the spotlight on him is suddenly brighter than ever. He can't afford to do anything that might derail his career...like introducing the world to his boyfriend. Kip is ready to go all-in with Scott - but how much longer will he have to remain a secret?

the story was fine, cliché but good. if you have watched the Heated Rivalry tv show you don't need to read this book because the whole book is exactly like chapter 3 and end of chapter 5 of the show, so if you don't wanna waste time and wish to move forward faster to reach the last book (Shane and Ilya's second book) just skip book 1. the only difference between the book and the show was the epilogue part which I'm guessing maybe we will see it in season 2.
I'm sorry to say that but the narration wasn't good at all!! I didn't understand why Kip's voice was like that and with a disturbing accent and Scott's voice was like a 14 years old teenager!! thanks for the effort but it was an agony to finish the book, I am very disappointed to see these books with so much fame doesn't have good duet narrations!!

Good story

La dolcezza della loro storia è un qualcosa di incredibile, l’affetto, il found family, la realizzazione di quello che si prova e delle esigenze è fantastico e sia Scott sia Kip sono molto più che husband matirial

Personalmente meglio di Heated Rivarly

I'm currently loving the Heated Rivalry tv show, so I've decided to give this series another chance. Overall, I think I might have liked it more than the second book (which I'm actually planning to re-read). It wasn't just a series of sex scenes after another; we got to see the protagonists' lives outside of the romance, and even the cast of secondary characters felt more fleshed out.
It's cute. It doesn't necessarily reinvent the wheel, but what it does, it does well enough.

Speaking of the narration, I feel terrible saying it, but I wasn't a fan of it. I like Tor Thor,n and I think that he's a really good narrator, but accents aren't his strongest suit.

A very standard romance book, but nice enough.
