A proposito di questo titolo
This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice.
Three cousins who barely know each other. One hillside town with the slowest railway in England. One summer to save a clock.

Twelve-year-old Nisha wants to be a mapmaker and does not believe in guessing. Ten-year-old Felix collects facts the way other people collect stickers. Eleven-year-old Rowan never says what he is thinking, which is a great deal. Sent to their great-aunt's town of Clockhill for the holidays, they ride up a rattling funicular railway that takes nineteen minutes to climb a hill you could walk in twelve, and arrive at a clock museum that has been shut for two years.

Then comes the bad news: the museum is to be sold, and the famous Midsummer Clock with it. But tucked inside a stopped wooden cuckoo, the cousins find a note from the clockmaker who vanished, promising that the clock hides a prize worth saving everything for. Every clue leads to the next: a gear stamped with a single initial, a tunnel under the tracks, a bell that knows what to do. With a cheerful gang of local children, a sheepish assistant who cannot stop eating jam doughnuts, a very polite buyer in a hurry, and a great-aunt who says "Sprockets and springs!" when things go wrong, they have two weeks until Clock Day.

Warm, funny and gently suspenseful, with fair clues that listeners can solve along with the cousins, plenty of laughs for the grown-ups in the car, and a satisfying ending with no scary moments.

A family adventure mystery for ages 8 to 12 and everyone along for the ride.
