A must for everyone living in this fast paced world. Do yourself a favor and download this book. You will not regret it.

Very good one!!
This is one of those audiobooks that you actually WANT to listen to all in one sitting. Listen to the whole thing and do the exercises. You will not be disappointed.
I found myself bursting with clear energy and peace of mind after practicing these techniques and listening to the music... yes there is some nice calming music.

Best breathwork exercises I've found
I usually resist anything that sounds too new age-y, and often times breathing meditation guides tend to veer in that direction. But Andrew Weil presents the material like a doctor would, highlighting how the breathwork relates to overall health and the nervous system. And through this, he gently opens doors to a deeper spiritual connection. His voice is soothing, and the tempo of the breathing exercises is excellent. Highly recommend it.

Worth checking out!!!
Definately worth checking out if interested in breathing practices. I've been using the practices and find very rewarding.

For the beginner
This book is good and breathing exercises are very helpful. But if you have had some yoga training it is a bit basic. I was left wanting more for the price.

Breathe
If you're already practicing Mindfulness (Vipassana) Meditation this book won't really benefit you although it does provide several things. One, begin your breath by breathing out first rather than breathing in. By doing this you'll breathe in more oxygen and can ascertain the place where the air is exiting your nose. Two, you'll learn a body stimulative breathing technique. And, three, you'll learn a body relaxing breathing technique, the 4/7/8 Breath. Happy breathing. :-)

Better read
I should have got the print not the audio for this one. You really need to practice what the Doctor is talking about and that's not such a good thing to do while driving.

Not for diabetics...
who are restricted from intake of New Age fudge. Lots of the typical semantic illogic: "breath and spirit have the same root in Chinese; therefore, dealing with the breath is dealing with the spirit." Please. Never done Weil before, but put him right up there with quacks like Chopra and Dyer... But now I must make some wordplay myself. This selection is "a waste of breath." It's "all blow and no go..." O, but Weil does point out that brandy is also a "spirit," so instead of trying to get through this very long hour and a half, enjoy a nice glass of the amber stuff; by his logic, drinking brandy should also be healing to the mind and soul.

Simple and straight to the point.
Easy to listen to. loved the fact that it's short and split in to 2 parts. The excerises are full and not just samples, so are great to participate in.

A breath of fresh air
I don't usually write reviews,
But the fact that I am, illustrates to me, if not to anyone else; the positive effect it has had on my overall health, I am now beginning to overcome severe anxiety, this audio book has been a god send.

Love it
I love this audiobook. Andrew Weil has a lovely soothing voice and the breathing exercises really relax me. I would fully recommend this book.

Very knowledgeable and a delight to follow
The breathing methods are very well explained.
Easy to understand and follow. Relaxing and calming. I know that it will help me in my physical well-being. Thank you Andrew Weil for writing and narrating such a wonderful book.

a peaceful listen
I enjoyed the background leading up to the breathing exercises which took me to a much calmer dimension. I shall be listening to this again and some of his other works
