When ten-year-old Max Power finds a pixelated, glowing key in his grandad's garage, he has no idea what it could be ... but he can't help but reach out and touch it. And just like that, he's catapulted into the adventure of a lifetime! Max finds himself in a strange world—a patchwork realm called Arcadia. This wonderful place is inhabited by strange characters. Max Power may seem like an ordinary pre-teen gamer, but he has a BIG secret. Max doesn't just PLAY video games—he LIVES them! Ever since Max discovered a glowing key in his grandad's shed, he has been able to transport himself into Arcadia—an incredible, pixelated planet inhabited by creatures called sprites. Max, together with his new friends Sprocket and Jitterbug, must protect Arcadia from a monster called the Glitch. But never fear—they've got the skills, heart, and bravery to take the battle for Arcadia all the way to the FINAL LEVEL!
