Special Agent Ty Grady is pretty sure he’s about to get fired. His last perp skipped town before he could make an arrest, leaving him with a lot of means and precious few ends. The only thing worse than a near-death experience is trying to lie to a shrink about it. And the only thing worse than that is being stuck on desk duty after failing. The two of them are soon ordered to take a vacation, before their exasperated coworkers finish what the serial killer started.

This makes it hard to discuss their newest case: an undercover operation aboard a cruise ship in the Caribbean. Their mission is to collect information by posing as Corbin and Del Porter, a pair of wealthy international smugglers who also happen to be happily married.
