Une journée grand nettoyage de la nature est sponsoriée par la manade Cavaletti avec à la clé pour le gagnant, celui qui collectera le plus de déchets, une semaine tout compris dans le lodge écolo qui vient de s'ouvrir "au pied des vagues" ! Plusieurs équipes participent : nos quatre ados ; Brice et ses acolytes ; Samantha, Rachel, Vina et Marin, le nouveau super mignon du collège que Samantha convoite. Cette dernière, prête à tout pour gagner, est d'autant plus remontée que le beau Marin s'entend un peu trop bien à son goût avec Anaïs.

Clément est hémiplégique depuis un grave accident de la route. En vacances aux chambres d'hôtes des parents de Léna, il veut reprendre l'équitation. Ses parents ne sont pas pour. Mais Léna et ses amis parviennent à les convaincre, promettant d'être très prudents. Clément ravi reprend l'équitation au Ranch avec nos ados. C'est le bonheur ! Mais il en veut toujours plus. Et pour démontrer qu'il peut faire aussi bien qu'un valide, il se met en tête de participer à la compétition de saut d'obstacle régionale à laquelle Léna s'est inscrite.

Au collège, chaque élève doit faire un stage de découverte si possible en relation avec le métier qu'il aimerait faire plus tard. Pour Angelo, c'est tout vu : il fait son stage avec son père Emir à la manade Cavaletti (il ignore que Samantha fait elle aussi son stage chez son père... et jouera sa chef !). Pour Hugo, c'est aussi clair comme de l'eau de mer : il va faire son stage dans le magasin de board à côté de la plage (sauf que son père a prévu de le prendre avec lui au collège, et de lui faire découvrir le métier de proviseur !).

Rachel participe avec son cheval Zelig à une course à cru départ en ligne dans le pur style du Palio de Sienne. Léna avec Mistral, et Hugo avec Réglisse participent aussi. Samantha blessée au poignet est forfait pour la course. Elle coache Rachel et la surmotive pour qu'elle gagne absolument. Mais le cheval de Rachel se montre de plus en plus nerveux et stressé à mesure que les entraînements s'enchaînent et que la course approche. Léna et ses amis découvriront qu'il est en fait dopé aux herbes chinoises par Samantha.

Hugo revient des championnats internationaux de Kite Surf avec la médaille d'argent ! Le "little Frenchy" s'est non seulement fait un nom dans le monde de la glisse, mais il a aussi tapé dans l'œil d'un producteur qui veut absolument lui faire enregistrer un single : ukulélé au coin du feu, kite surf tracté par luxueux hors bord, sourire à faire tomber les filles, un bon playback… et c'est le hit assuré ! Hugo prend la grosse tête et ne pense plus qu'à sa carrière, négligeant sa jument Réglisse, délaissant ses amis, oubliant le Ranch et les valeurs qui ont toujours fait du groupe ce qu'il est.
