So beschließt er ebenfalls nach Hultsfred zu reiten, um ein lustiges Leben zu führen, mit seiner "Müsse" und seiner "Büsse" und seinem alten Pferd Julla. Aber alles kostet Geld auf der Festwiese und Michel hat keines. Doch natürlich weiß er sich zu helfen. Und als sich dann auch noch ein unheimlicher Dieb im Zelt der bärtigen Dame rumtreibt, wird er fast zum Helden. Mit der Geschichte: "Als Michel auf der Festwiese von Hultsfred ein lustiges Leben führte".

Mit den Geschichten: "Als Michel den Kopf in die Suppenschüssel steckte" und "Als Michel Klein-Ida an der Fahnenstange hochzog".
