My first job with the Cerberus MC was to grab a girl from a seedy bar. Easy money, right? The moment I realized the blonde I was hunting wasn't around, I ended up captivated by a redhead dancing on the stage. With her striking features and sinful body, I knew she was trouble, but that didn't stop me from making her mine that night. When I learned that she was the job, everything became clouded.

My plan was as simple as they come...in theory. Show up at the Cerberus clubhouse and give dear old Dad a piece of my mind. Never one to look back on past conquests, Shadow is surprised that he's intrigued by Misty, which only grows more when she seems to be done with him without a word.

When I pulled her out of Hell, she wouldn't let go. She literally wrapped her arms around my neck and refused to release me.

I walked away from my best friend, my lover, the only man I could see spending my life with to make a career of being a Marine, but it didn't happen. A car accident took him away from me before I realized the mistake I'd made. Now, 13 years later, I've met a woman and a man who makes everything seem ideal. That's how I introduced myself to Rivet. The first female Cerberus team member wasn't impressed with my corny pickup lines and wide smile like the other women I use it on. And why should she be? She's seen it all and lived to tell the tale. She took one look at me and decided she wasn't interested. I should move on, but her rejection stings. I can't seem to let it go.

The civilian world is supposed to be easy after fighting in a war. Taking acting classes while also working as a personal trainer, I keep myself pretty busy. I'm focused, honed in on my goals, but there's no way not to be distracted by Aviana Maguire. There's something about her standoffish demeanor that makes curious. When she disappears, like she never even existed, I'm forced into action. With the help of long-time friends in the Cerberus MC, I end up in the seedy underbelly of Vegas. I'm here to rescue the girl, but getting involved in SIN while I'm here is impossible to avoid.
