Dagon. Baggrundsmusikken er komponeret af Daniel Simon.

This audiobook includes unabridged recordings of 13 of H. P. Lovecraft's most well-renowned stories, read by Audie-Award winner Jonathan Keeble. The stories included here are: 'The Colour Out of Space', 'The Dunwich Horror', 'The Whisperer in the Darkness', 'The Haunter of the Dark', 'Call of Cthulhu', 'The Rats in the Walls', 'From Beyond; Dagon', 'At the Mountains of Madness', 'In the Vault', 'The Shadow Over Innsmouth', 'The Dreams in the Witch House', 'The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath'.

Robert Blake—a young man with an interest in the occult—becomes fascinated by a large disused church set on a hill which he can see from his lodgings. His researches reveal that the church has a sinister history and is dreaded by the local inhabitants as being haunted by a primeval evil.

The story follows Walter Gilman, who takes a room in the Witch House, an accursed house in Akham, Lovecraft's fictional New England town. The house once harbored Keziah Mason, a witch who disappeared mysteriously from a Salem jail in 1692. Gilman discovers that over the centuries most of its occupants have died prematurely. In his dreams while at the house, Gilman travels to the city of Elder Things and communes with the evil witch and her henchmen.

Written in the summer of 1926, it was first published in Weird Tales, February 1928. It is the only story written by Lovecraft in which the extra terrestrial entity Cthulhu himself makes a major appearance. It is written in a documentary style, with three independent narratives linked together by the device of a narrator discovering notes left by a deceased relative. The narrator pieces together the whole truth and disturbing significance of the information he possesses

The dark and twisted story of Wilbur Whateley and the strange events surrounding his birth and precocious development. Wilbur matures at an abnormal rate, reaching manhood within a decade—all the while becoming indoctrinated into dark rituals and witchcraft by his grandfather.

H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, and M.R. James: The Ultimate Collection is a fully indexed collection containing over 75 stories and poems from the three most beloved horror and ghost writers in modern literature. Read by three Audie-winning narrators.

The story is told by Albert N. Wilmarth, an instructor of literature at Miskatonic University in Arkham. When local newspapers report strange things seen floating in rivers during a historic Vermont flood, Wilmarth becomes embroiled in a controversy about the reality and significance of the sightings, though he sides with the skeptics. Wilmarth uncovers old legends about monsters living in the uninhabited hills who abduct people who venture or settle too close to their territory.

In the Vault was based on a suggestion made in August 1925 by Charles W. Smith, editor of the amateur journal Tryout, which Lovecraft recorded in a letter: 'an undertaker imprisoned in a village vault where he was removing winter coffins for spring burial, and his escape by enlarging a transom reached by the piling up of the coffins'.

Before throwing himself from the window of his attic, the untitled protagonist writes some notes related to his mental state. Then, he begins to recall an old story that happened in the years of the First World War: suddenly, he finds himself a prisoner of a German ship in the Pacific Ocean. After only five days, the protagonist manages to escape with a raft. Wandering for days, adrift in the sea, one afternoon he finds himself stranded on a disquieting and apparently deserted island and, from there, things only get stranger.
