C'è stato un tempo nel quale i discorsi dei grandi leader cambiavano il corso della storia e spesso anche la vita quotidiana dei cittadini. Oggi prevalgono post, tweet, battute in tv di 30-45 secondi, che esprimono più o meno efficacemente emozioni e posizionamenti spesso effimeri. Nel passato, ma ancora oggi, i discorsi spingono invece ad argomentare, a spiegare, a far capire perché si sia arrivati ad una certa posizione e dove si voglia arrivare.
