Amb tots aquests ingredients, Pastor ens presenta Farishta, que amb divuit anys acabats de fer, se’n va a treballar en un complex d’illes privat de la Polinèsia Francesa, on descobrirà que res és el que sembla. L’autor planteja amb un gran talent un seguit de qüestions molt interessants en un ambient clarament distòpic que, per contrapartida, situa enmig de paisatges de bellesa paradisíaca.
