Kim Philby est un important officier du Secret Intelligence Service (SIS ou MI6) britannique. Il devient célèbre lorsqu'est révélé qu'il a été un agent des services de renseignement soviétiques, tout le long de sa carrière. Philby est affecté au poste de Premier Secrétaire à Washington en 1949.
