This edition of The Best of Bill also includes Bill W.’s classic essay on the spiritual meaning of anonymity.

Alcoholics Anonymous: The Big Book is the foundational text of the Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) fellowship, first published in 1939 and still widely used today. Written primarily by AA co-founder Bill Wilson, it outlines the Twelve-Step program of recovery from alcoholism and includes powerful, personal stories of individuals who have overcome addiction through AA. The book serves as both a guide and a source of inspiration for those seeking sobriety, offering practical steps, spiritual insights, and a supportive philosophy of mutual help.
