In the very first episode of the a:live podcast, Carly Wilford is joined by the incredible Ed Jackson. After meeting Ed at the side of the DJ booth during one of her gigs, Carly and Ed got talking. He explained that he used to be a rugby player and after an accident in 2017, he was told he would never walk again. Not from a rugby accident but from accidentally jumping in the shallow end of a swimming pool.
That day, Ed’s life changed forever. And whilst for many this could have meant he saw his life was over, in-fact, for Ed and for his family and friends this was the start of a life changing journey. One where he pushed his mind and his body to limits that have defied convention. Not only is he able to now walk again. He climbs mountains.
