on this episode of live a little, nikki lilly is joined by uk top 20 charting artist dylan for an honest conversation about ambition, grief and refusing to give up on the life you’ve always imagined for yourself.

from adopting an alter ego to protect herself from failure to navigating a music industry that’s tried to put her dreams on hold, dylan has never been afraid to want more. but behind that ambition is a story of losing her mum, pushing through heartbreak, and spending years keeping herself busy rather than confronting the grief that was waiting for her.

dylan opens up about how songwriting became her lifeline, why losing her mum changed the way she sees life and how she’s learning to stop letting industry gatekeepers dictate her future. after having her album pulled just days after moving to new york, she’s finally ready to release the most honest music she’s ever made - entirely on her own terms.

together, nikki and dylan explore why we’re taught to make our dreams smaller, how grief changes you forever, and why being a little delusional might actually be the thing that gets you where you want to go.

if you’ve ever felt like your dreams were too big or needed reminding that your story isn’t over just because things haven’t worked out yet, this one’s for you.
