Good afternoon investigators! On todays episode Scoot takes us through the Smurl family haunting, a haunting that inspired The Conjuring: Last Rites movie. starting when the family moved into the home in 1973, the activity only ramped up through their 13 years in the home. Ed and Lorraine Warren were a part of the story of the Smurl family, and lead to a book called the haunted being written about all the paranormal events which took place. the family eventually moved, but the hauntings were said to have followed! but their story does die out after the move, and the next owners of the haunted home experienced no unexplained phenomena, so what do you think? haunted or hoax?
