In this edition of the k.mklmlkmlk podcast, the focus is on recent events surrounding the LSU football team's pre-game ceremony, and Governor Landry's request for players to be on the field for the national anthem. Host jkjkj reviews the history of this issue, highlighting that LSU players haven't been on the field for the anthem in decades, making the Governor's request controversial. The podcast delves into a related incident from five months ago when the LSU women's basketball team was off court during the anthem. Landry's suggestion that failing to comply could risk athletic scholarships caused a stir amongst the audience. The host then winds back to a similar incident from 2017, further scrutinizing this recurring issue. Finally, he concludes with the affirmation that the LSU football team's pre-game rituals will remain unaltered this season, beginning with the game against the USC Trojans.
