A proposito di questo titolo

Yes Ma’am Podcast is a comedy podcast for creative recovery—aka that sweet, messy process of reclaiming your inner artist after burnout, perfectionism, or just life got in the way.

Hosted by Anna and Sarah—artists and business owners—we explore what happens when you get out of YOUR OWN WAY and just MAKE THE THING. We ask how to make space for play and curiosity. What if it's the journey that matters? Not the final product. DANG

If you’ve ever said “I’m not creative,” or you feel you've lost your creative voice, we’re here to lovingly call BS. Doing this work can make you more sparkly in every area of your life—because it’s not just about making art. It’s about reconnecting with yourself, your intuition, your aliveness—and bringing that into everything you do.

Each season, we walk through The Artist’s Way, asking big questions (no answers), making weird stuff, laughing a lot, and accidentally healing. Come sit with us.

We love you.

    BONUS EP ALERT

Surprise! We’re dropping a little bonus episode! We recorded it at our holiday party actually. Think of this episode as part reflection, part Season 2 teaser, and part cozy corner to hide in when you just need a break from ALL THE THINGS. Because same.

Did we plan to release it between Christmas and New Years? Yes.

Did life, holidays, and a million things get in the way? Also yes.

But hey—we’re not perfectionists! We’re sending it anyway! So here it is. Late but still delightful.

Come take a breath with us. Then get back OUT THERE.

    We love you.

  • Post-Lude: In Which We Debrief
    Jul 11 2025

We did it. We actually did The Artist’s Way!

We read all the words in all the chapters—with our eyes and ears. And now?

    It’s time to debrief!

In this post-lude season 1 finale, we’re pulling back the curtain and giving you a behind-the-scenes look at what it was like to make a podcast while doing The Artist’s Way. Then we answer five burning questions (you know, so we can stay on track!)

    1. What surprised us the most about ourselves during this process?
    2. Which week or concept hit the hardest—and why?
    3. What are we still struggling with, even after 12 weeks?
    4. How has our creative process or identity changed since starting?
    5. And if we could give one piece of advice to our Week 1 selves… what would we say?

Come celebrate with us! Reflect with us! And stay tuned for WHAT'S NEXT!

Because we’re definitely doing it again.

    We love you.

  • WEEK 12 | In Which We (try to) make the Journey the THING
    Jun 27 2025

It’s Week 12! The final chapter! WHATT!

We’re asking the big questions and, as usual, bringing zero answers. What are we even working for? What are we hurrying toward? And seriously… what’s so bad about this moment, right now? Can you ever really arrive—or, oh no, is the journey literally… the whole thing? What happens when we’re just okay with where we are? Are we allowed to do that?

We also wonder: what if your creativity doesn’t have to make money? What if it’s just… SO FUN? What if you could enjoy it without turning it into a product?

Julia Cameron hits us with the line of the week: “You are either losing your mind or gaining your soul.” COOL COOL COOL.

We try to untangle that, remind ourselves that life is meant to be an artist date, and ask the realest question: can we actually have that?

It’s Anna and Sarah warning you to watch out for the Wet Blanket Mommies and Move at the Pace of Pleasure, friends. Happy 4th of July!

    We love you!
