The Yankees took two of three from the Mariners in a battle of terrible offensive teams. Wednesday night, the Yankees scored 10 runs and it was just the fifth time in 49 games where they scored five or more. That's crazy bad, but the Mariners were worse in this series as they scored a grand total of seven runs.

Sal Maiorana and Mike Lindsley look back on a series victory that featured another outstanding set of pitching performances by the Yankees, but was also frustrating because of their continued inability to hit in two of the games.
