In this final episode, the host sits down with unschooling expert Esther Jones to explore the profound parallels between unschooling and psychedelics—both paths that dismantle conditioning, invite deep questions about who we are and why we’re here, and foster healing for parents as much as for children. Esther shares her personal journey into unschooling, the fine line between supporting and conditioning kids, advice for navigating parental fears and societal pushback, and a vision of how a society raised on intuition and freedom could transform connection and purpose beyond survival mode. She closes with her favorite piece of advice for parents curious about the unbeaten path and where to find more of her work.

Two weeks after my ayahuasca ceremony marathon in the jungle and the integration is blowing my mind… from no more cravings to smelling snakes, seeing people’s true intentions in one glance, lucid dreams on steroids, and so much more! This deep inner unschooling is showing me how to stay real, present, and connected. That’s the real unschooling. That’s what I’m taking with me from this jungle journey.

This week I'm taking you deep into the Amazon, where my son, our animals, and I moved in with a family we had just met to learn about healing, jungle medicine, and the parts of ourselves most people spend their whole lives avoiding. If you've heard me say that unschooling starts with deschooling yourself, this episode is about exactly that: facing old wounds, working through trauma, and discovering what becomes possible when we stop running from the parts of ourselves that need healing.

I think we're all here for a reason, but most of modern life is pulling us away from discovering what that reason really is. Soul-led education is about helping our kids stay connected to themselves, think independently, become un-fuck-withable and follow their own mission instead of spending their lives running someone else's program.

In this episode, I share a day in our life in a small village in the beautiful Amazon, from jungle walks and seeing monkeys every morning to boat rides, village routines, and so much more. It’s a glimpse into our unschooling life here and the way I experience all of it with a looot of appreciation and love for what’s around us :)

Finally in the Amazon, enjoying life, living with tribe people, boats instead cars, rivers instead of streets, and piranhas for breakfast <3

I joined a conversation on regenerative education as a guest, and it was refreshing to be part of a space where people are seriously questioning the current schooling system (how could you not).

We talked about why families are choosing alternative paths, what that looks like in real life, and how different people actually made the transition work around the world. A lot of personal stories, honest feedback about the challenges and learnings along the way, and a ton of inspiration!

This episode is part of the Regenerative Culture project, take a look at Yoshi and Pola's work here: https://regenerativeculture.life/. Guests of this workshop included Radonda Dobbins, Hila Russ-Woodland, Michael Fraser, Katy Star, Marie Kristin, and Michele. Enjoy <3

I went quiet because life got real… I quit my job, traveled through Egypt, Portugal, and now Mexico with my son, and somewhere in all of that I stopped performing and actually started living, healing, and unschooling for real. Now I’m back (kind of), not with answers but with an open door :) if you want to co-create this podcast, share ideas, or just be part of whatever this becomes next, reach out.
