A more efficient and considerate approach is to back-up photos and videos to cloud storage services like Apple Photos, Google Photos, or Dropbox. This allows for sharing links instead of entire files, conserving storage and offering greater control over access.
Sharing links also enables recipients to download only the content they desire. Cloud storage services provide advantages like photo tagging, location mapping, and collaborative albums, enhancing the organisation and enjoyment of shared memories.
However, if cloud storage is not an option, direct sharing via messaging apps might be necessary.
