Today we’re beginning (Part 1) of a series on “Why Can’t I Lose Weight: What’s My Body Type?

There are 3 different body types: Ectomorph, Mesomorph, and Endomorph. An ectomorph is slender, with narrow shoulders and lower muscle mass. A mesomorph is athletic, broad shouldered and gains muscle easily. An endomorph is shapely and gains body fat more easily.

However, the body types can shift as we get older based on our activity level and food habits.
