What happens when artists discover Bitcoin?

Dion Wilson, founder of Bitcoin for the Arts and former professional dancer, explains how Bitcoin is empowering artists, musicians, and independent creators to reclaim their financial freedom, get paid directly for their work, and build careers on their own terms.

From disrupting traditional creative industries to funding artists with Bitcoin grants, Dion shares why art and culture could be the missing piece of Bitcoin adoption—and how sound money can unlock a new era of creativity.

After a 16-year professional dance career that included performing with Disney and touring nationally, Dion found himself searching for his next purpose. That journey eventually led him down the Bitcoin rabbit hole and inspired him to create Bitcoin for the Arts, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting artists through Bitcoin funding, education, and freedom technology.

What if the next wave of Bitcoin adoption doesn't come from technology or finance, but from art, music, and culture? That's the future Dion is helping build.
