  • The Rapist, The Survivor, The Reckoning: Beyond the Netflix Documentary 'The Predator of Seville' Gabrielle Vega's Fight Continues
    May 4 2026

This episode is a powerful and deeply important conversation. Joining host Jennie, is Gabrielle Vega. Her story is currently featured on Netflix and the documentary is called 'The Predator of Seville'.

As a newly graduated High School student, on a gap year trip with other recent high school graduates in Spain, 19 year old Gabrielle was drugged and raped by her tour guide. A man that was trusted with her care and safety. A wolf in sheep clothing.

What followed for Gabrielle, wasn't just the trauma and PTSD from being raped, but the heavy realisation that she was not alone...that the man who attacked her had raped many other women and girls over the course of many many years. Sadly, one girl lost her life.

Where many would step back and retreat, Gabrielle chose to step forward. She took on the Spanish judicial system in pursuit of justice, not just for herself, but for every survivor who had been silenced, overlooked and fear mongered. She spent years of her life fighting to have this monster be held to account for his crimes against women.

Gabrielle "won". The serial rapist who targeted her and changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others', was found guilty.

Shockingly, he walks free; never spending a day in jail.

in this episode, Jennie and Gabrielle talk openly about that journey; navigating the rape reporting process, the realities survivors face within the judicial system and the broader issues surrounding support, advocacy and action.

This is an emotive, and powerful episode and shines a bright light on the dark corners and failings of our "judicial" systems globally.

  • You're Not Broken: How to Actually Heal Trauma with leading trauma recovery expert Robert Brennan
    Mar 30 2026

More and more people are beginning to look inward and acknowledge something that, for a long time, was ignored or pushed aside; their past. We’re seeing a real shift, where individuals are starting to recognise how unresolved trauma shows up in their present-day lives. Whether that’s through relationship struggles, patterns of self-sabotage, challenges with self-worth, or even the way we parent, there’s a growing awareness that our past experiences don’t just stay in the past...they shape who we are today.

And that awareness is powerful. It’s an important first step.

But here’s the thing- it’s only a portion of what’s actually required to change your circumstances. Because identifying the source of your trauma doesn’t automatically heal it.

On this weeks episode, host Jennie is joined by Robert Brennan, on the the UK's leading mindset specialists and trauma recovery coaches. He works with people not just to understand their past, but how to HEAL it. Robert and Jennie explore what it really means to draw a line under trauma. They answer confounding questions that so many have like "How do you actually heal the wounds, not just identify them?" and "How do you move forward in a way that feels real, lasting and transformative?
