In this message from Nehemiah 4 and Nehemiah 6, Pastor Andy Lake teaches on the danger of listening to the wrong voices while doing the work of God. As Nehemiah and the people rebuilt the wall, Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem, and others attempted to discourage, distract, intimidate, and divide them. Nehemiah refused to come down from the work God had given him. This sermon calls believers to spiritual discernment, biblical focus, and faithfulness to the mission of God. Not every voice deserves influence, and not every spiritual-sounding voice is from God. The church must remain focused on Christ, His Word, His mission, and His heart. Sometimes the most spiritual answer is simply: "I cannot come down."
