Welcome to yet another rousing debate about equality! There's this trend happening on TikTok where women film their husband's when they tell them they can't pay their part of the mortgage this month. And the apparent goal is for the men to say, "don't worry about it...why would you ever worry about it." It's another social media trend that is promoting the idea that women should be in a position where they don't have to worry about making money. We're seeing more and more of these as the right continues their culture war to push women out of the workforce and back into the home where they believe we belong.
