What happens when worship music enters the dance competition space?
In this episode, I'm talking about the responsibility choreographers carry when choosing worship music for the stage/performance. From costuming and movement choices to helping dancers understand the message they're presenting, every creative decision communicates something.
This isn't about legalism, policing dancers, or saying worship has to look one specific way. It's about alignment. If the song points people toward Jesus, doe the choreography, presentation, and intention do the same?
Worship music is more than a beautiful soundtrack. When we choose to put it on a stage, we should be intentional about how we represent it.
