A proposito di questo titolo
In this episode, I talk about what it was like to live in survival mode while still inside an abusive relationship and how that state quietly stole moments I can never get back.
I share how trauma kept me focused on getting through the day rather than truly being present as a mother, and the grief that comes with realizing parts of motherhood were experienced through fear, exhaustion, and self-protection instead of joy and connection.
This episode isn’t about blame or shame. It’s about naming what survival costs, especially when you’re parenting while trying to stay safe, and honoring the strength it took to endure without minimizing the loss that came with it.
If you’ve ever looked back and felt like pieces of your life or motherhood were taken from you because you were surviving, this episode is for you.
You did the best you could with what you had. And your story doesn’t end there.
You’re not broken. You’re becoming.
